Ning was looking as fabulous, divine and gorgeous as usual (I loved her new hair!), and Spanky, as goth as she desired (her current phase). The new Shepperd’s pie on the menu tasted as good as the country pie which they use to serve, and so was the triple-layered muddy mud pie (though I could have gone with more warmth in the chocolate sauce). Yum. The peppermint tea was just perfect. Not too strong nor weak, and good enough for 3 rounds of hot water re-fills.
There were plenty of good news and juicy stuff shared which was reciprocated with toasts (esp. to Ning), laughs, giggles and hugs. I’m pretty sure we caught the attention of the tables nearby with our yelps, exclamations and jokes. Aw man…Ning, you should have seen the fools we continued to make of ourselves after you left.
It was fun.fun.fun. An activity that was definitely worth spending into the wee hours, even if it meant lesser hours of sleep. I heart my Queenies. They are priceless.
