My shape-up routine has unfortunately not taken flight since my bigger ambitions last week to include some yoga, tennis, swimming and jogging during my week of break. I realized how unhealthy I’ve been eating since post-wedding.
I’ve been procrastinating toning up for quite a bit now – and it wasn’t till yesterday when I attended the “yoga for lunch” power session did I suddenly feel energized thereafter, all ready to get the body system running…again.
So this morning I woke up accidentally at 9am and instead of falling back onto the pillow, I booked in my slot for another crazy “yoga for lunch” power session for this afternoon (this time with Ross, known for pushing our guts to the max). It’s darn tempting to not crawl out of bed at the moment as I type this entry with my back leaning against 2 plush pillows, but the horrible thought of consuming too much food and fruits (including durians on top of the mangosteens, mangoes and kiwis) and bags of tidbits last night is eager to be erased.
To the un-motivated like myself, I should really learn to exercise CONTROL.
