It was darn frustrating just getting into the carpark of the Singapore Expo during the 3-days Natas affair, not to mention the very disorganized and disoriented snake queue we withstood just to get our tired arses into the exhibition, but well worth the wait.
We managed to land ourselves a fantastic deal for our 2nd honeymoon trip, this time to Europe, with a ‘perfect’ package comprising of all the cities we wanted to visit. Hooray! And although another travel agency had the same itinerary, with a very tempting offer of a 1-day trip to the factory outlet in Florence where she promised a shopping trip of Guccis, Ferragamos and YSLs at crazily discounted prices, paying an additional $800 per pax was just not worth it. (note: I was surprised that the husband highlighted to the various agents that shopping was a must for our itinerary)
Against my hopeful shopping tendency, I told the husband that I was fine with not going to that particular factory outlet, which meant we could opt for the cheaper package with another agency. There was no guarantee that I was going to land myself a steal (which also meant spending more money on top of the additional $800) and previous experiences at Factory Outlets have proven just how the deals can be just as pricey and not much of a saving. And I reckon at this stage, I was going to be just as satisfied with one nice solid bag (from all that savings) since the highlight of the honeymoon was obviously to spend a wonderful time and take in the sights together.
So all being well, the wonders of the Colosseum of Rome, Canals of Venice, Versailles, Lucerne Glacier Garden are just 2 months away!!!
Yay :o)
