Over lunch on Friday, my ex-colleague Tracy shared with us how Levi’s was having a fantastic promotion about getting $50 off your new pair of Levi’s when you trade in your old pair (any brand) of jeans.
How fantastic was that?! Me reckon that it is probably one of their best promotions ever, considering how the biggest sale they’ve ever had for new arrivals is 20%, which still couldn’t compete with the $50 discount, unless you usually spend $300 on a pair of Levi’s – which is quite ridiculous.
So still fired up from my success in managing to find the husband a very handsome pair of new jeans 2 weeks back (I just love it when he wears the new snug ones as compared to the tattered oldies), we walked right into Levi’s today with 2 pairs of my old jeans in hand and picked out another straight relax pair for the man. Nice! My 2nd pre-Xmas present to him. 🙂
Obviously I couldn’t resist the offer too, so I forced myself to try on 4 various shades/cuts of jeans, tore a nail in between the fitting and jumping around and finally landed myself a light washed casual straights! Yummmmm. Can’t wait to start seasoning them for a more comfy fit.
What better way to dispose old jeans for a good cause (I read in the papers that Levi’s was going to donate all the old jeans they’ve collected to third world countries. Niceee.)
