Since married life, mum has taken the opportunity to refine her cooking skills yet again with our weekly dinner affairs. So far so good…and mum has definitely gotten more adventurous with her recipes, exploring cooking dishes I never really had the luxury to taste during my younger days.
Today, the husband decided to task his mum-in-law with the cooking of Chilli Crabs. Seeing that its a public holiday tomorrow, plus thought we’ll keep mum busy (she loves having us over for dinner since popo usually cooks her own meals these days to aid her recovery of her knee-cap) and give her all the time to prepare (crabs need to be cooked within 3 hours after they are killed)…
Verdict: Dddddddelicccccious!!! I was busy slurping every last bit of the chilli gravy that it didn’t even matter if I dirtied my clothes while doing so.
Think mum’s going to try black pepper crab the next time!
