Josh’s last day on Friday was one of those days I wished would never come to an end. I remembered first being introduced to Joshua during my first day at work. He was my manager.
I found Josh to be very laid back, friendly with a indie sense of dressing with his nice shades of pale pink coupled with men’s perfect denims. He often apologized for not knowing what to do next (giving work to his lackey aka me) or not knowing enough to teach. But it wasn’t long before I discovered that we had a lot more in common when it came to fashion & lifestyle. He was a very cool manager.
Our chances to work together were far & few ( ironically, because we were in the same team yet mostly spearheading different portfolios), Josh was always one to note. He always had the nicest things to say to anyone.
It was sad to see him go, so for Friday’s farewell; Karen & I took on the task of gifting him a very desired Fred Perry leather bag as a farewell gift ( to complement another design his stylish wife had) from the team. We had an evening of shooters & stout marking the finale of his work stint with the company. It was bitter sweet – knowing he was leaving yet great to know that it was for the better (of his life).
