It was wonderful having most people we met today remembering that exactly one year ago…Luke & I got married.
Mum was the first on the list this morning, wishing us many memorable years to come, and reflecting out loud her busy duties last year…and how at a certain time, I was preparing to walk down that aisle, say my vows and marry a certain Mr. Chung aka the bobo!
Mum-in-law also surprised us in her little way when she didn’t prepare dinner (as she usually would, every Sunday). We had come home, assuming that she had cooked dinner until we called to clarify and later found out that she thought we would be out celebrating instead!
It also turned out that the Bo & I didn’t have much of a celebration plan, apart from hanging out together and enjoying the weekend, just like any other weekend. So to make the most out of the situation, we put on our flipflops, headed to the east and settled (by chance!!!) at this amazing Brazilian deli/restaurant…which served one of the most amaaaaaaaazing meats. I had lamb, and it was absolutely succulent & delicious. Every bite of it! Not forgetting the Brazilian spicy crab soup + the perfectly thin-sliced salami, parma ham and cheese platter. I broke every diet rule there and then. It was our anniversary celebratory dinner anyway!
