is a particular bag i’ve spotted at Prada for close to 2 weeks now.
And as the husband ushers me into the shop each time we walk by it every weekend, I secretly hope that it doesn’t get sold out like the previous models I was eyeing on (not that I can afford it anytime soon, probably by Christmas 2010…me reckon)
But the strangest thing out of this entire obsession is that this particular bag was one that I hadn’t set eyes on during my previous trips with my lunch kakis! But since the husband picked it up and got me to swing it round the shop one Friday night, I just started to fall in love with it deeper.
It also helped that the shop experience on that particular Friday was terrific too. There was an extremely wonderful salesperson who delighted the socks off us when he approached us near closing time, taking time to find out more about us, introducing the other bag models (and suitable occasions to use them) since the ones I wanted were officially sold out in Singapore, bringing out other limited edition colours & designs which were stashed in the store to show us, and most importantly – not one wee bit being aggressive in selling us a product for the sake of it. He wanted to ensure that I really enjoyed and liked every bag which I held, and even recommended us to check out the new range at miu miu after listening to our preferences in what we were looking out for.
… the peeps at Prada are way more deserving of a service star award that the horrible experience I had at Gucci. Certainly made my weekend – purchase or no purchase.
