J asked if I could recommend a place that we could chill, relax and that could inspire us…and it occurred to me that 2 of the newest kids on the indie-hip block were so close to where we were.
So off we set to K.ki (a Japanese-themed little cake corner) & the little drom store (a wonderful corner of knick knacks from the past) – these 2 little ones shared a shop space together.
The setting was cozy. 4 tables and no more. With a corner drom store filled with wonderful little things that would just lengthen your stay by hours even.
And the cakes from K.ki were too delicious to not finish all 3 that we ordered! My favourite was the Cheesecake Souffle, which wasn’t too heavy nor too light.
I wished I didn’t have to walk back to the office after our wonderful encounter there. But alas, all good things come to an end, eventually.
Am going to bring Helen + Thomas + Baby Oskar there the next time they visit!
