I’ve been having more conversations with God these days during the sabbatical.
And I love it.
I feel as though the past few years, I’ve not gotten close enough to him as I would have loved, though I’m well aware that he dwells in our hearts as long as we seek him.
But what I also love about the conversations these days is that, its been a 2-way! Or at least I’ve quit being lazy to seek answers & allow myself to be sensitive to the subtle hints around.
I’ve been spending some quality time with the MIL at home these days, and funny how we would also touch on the topic of seeking God for guidance & to lead us in the direction that’s good for us during our conversations.
(She’s currently praying for some direction to face her upcoming challenges, while I’m also praying for some direction during this sabbatical break of mine.)
Meanwhile, since returning from Bali, I’ve also received calls & mails from ex colleagues & clients – turned friends – some informing me that they’ve quit their jobs as well are are good for a catch up, others referring job opportunities; which again is another blessing about not needing to worry about my next step in life (when I’m ready).
I’m really enjoying this sabbatical, and if it’s to teach me anything thus far, I’m definitely cherishing relationships with God, myself, with others a lot more now.
Have a great weekend everyone!
