This week has been a rather productive one.
Mon: Managed to get mommy a new LCD TV at a very good price with little delay after the old one broke down. Dinner.
Tues: Borrowed some good ol’ classic DVDs, watched Scent of a Woman, Dinner with family, Played tennis
Wed: Caught up with vik over breakfast, went to meet God, did some good-value shopping & had high tea together. Dinner over at popo’s. Watched Royal Pains 2 which got me & hubs laughing & laughing.
Today: Made my 3rd trip to the post office for the week, went for a little walk to CP to do some wholesale shopping (which turned out uneventful), came home and decided to make myself a nice cuppa cadbury hot chocolate & used the traditional Dutch method to toast the chocolate caramel stroop wafel for an afternoon snack.
Now I’m really intrigued about today’s afternoon snack idea because while I like reading about the idea, I’ve never really tried it before (that said, I bought 6 stroop wafels in a swoop).
While it was recommended to leave the wafel on top of the mug for only a couple of minutes, I conveniently left it on for about 10 – 15 minutes because I was too occupied checking out the latest Balenciagas, Celine, Mulberry & Goyard prices on the web. Only to discover that I over melted the caramel in the wafel which left drips of caramel around the rim of my mug.
The only good thing had to be that the Cadbury Hot Chocolate drink tasted even better with the caramel. Ha ha.
How’s that for a cheap thrill? 😀
