I’ve been having a tussle with the weather recently.
It’s either been very unkind with its extreme heat & humidity which really makes my effort to shower futile OR the extreme end of it, raining & thundering so badly that I can’t keep to my jogging plans.
But this evening, aha, the moment came. I was perspiring slightly just over an hour after coming out of the shower and decided that I might as well go for the overdue jog while I was in that state.

I was actually pretty hyped up about the run!
It certainly has been a long while since I did a loop round the estate and I definitely needed to get back in shape after 6 weeks of pure indulgence of food, travel, more food and sleep. Didn’t like the idea of greeting my colleagues in an overweight slump next week either.
It felt really good to run past about 8-9 joggers & 1-2 cyclists during the 5km route. Each time we ran past each other it was as though we had some subliminal connection and were rooting each other on.
Surprising to say, I didn’t feel all short of breathe after the run as I used to…ahh probably its because I am indeed in a better shape of health.
Hooray! Can’t wait to run again.
