Have you ever eaten a chocolate truffle with 70% cocoa content which was so damn good that you had to resist yourself from fainting in the kitchen/shop itself after having the entire marble ball sized truffle twirl & flirt with your tongue – producing all SORTS of sensations. Yes, even those that starts with the letter ‘O’.
Well I did. Today. I had my virgin best chocolate truffle in Singapore yet – and I think this may last…till I get my foot in that chocolate factory in Sapporo which we’re visiting which then again, maybe the Japanese can’t even get this close to giving you a sensation of sorts. I hope to be proven wrong nonetheless.
In case you’re curious – Truffs is at Telok Ayer Street, diagonally opp the Amoy Street Food Market & just above the famous Ocean Curry Fishhead store. I hear they’re baking chocolate truffle log cakes this Xmas (and trust me, I tried their chocolate cake too)
