From 1st birthday to baby’s one month to the Bo’s advanced milestone birthday celebration – this weekend was a very packed, albeit joyful one!
I got to catch up with a long-time good friend whom I dearly missed, throw 2 surprise birthday parties for the Bo’s awesome 40th (which was a success!) thanks to his very good friends who were happy to make time for and accommodate the last-minuteness of the plan, witness my gorgeous niece turn one month old and feast to my heart’s content (I so need to crank up the exercise engine) amidst more catching-up with lovely people… it was a very fruitful weekend indeed!
Liam enjoyed himself the most, getting approached and befriended a Lebanese mixed beauty, jumped on a bouncy castle, running about with korkor and jiejies and was so well taken care of by the older kiddos that he was fed cupcakes, chocolate cake pops and chocolate brownies by them. I did my best to keep calm of course and embrace the sugar rushed talkativeness that ensued during the ride home but hey, if he’s really happy, I’m good with that too.
He was also enjoying every bit of the birthday songs sung, especially thinking it was for him durin the moments the crowd gathered and sang for his papa. I guess this means he’s totally going to enjoy his 2nd birthday? Haha.
Hope you had a great start your first weekend in 2014 too!
