This year’s Father’s Day celebration was all Liam. As in Liam led the celebrations with 100% on his own. Coming from a 2 yr old, I’m impressed.
I had no part in it because after Liam’s nasty fever spike for most of last night, robbing me of any decent sleep as his warm little body climbed up and down my pregnant belly to cuddle up every 15 mins and me trying to cool him & monitor his temperature at the same time…I was pretty much a very exhausted grouch when morning came.
Thankfully our little dude felt 100% better when he woke up this morning, greeted his papa “Happy Papa’s Day” after I told him it was papa’s special day and proceeded to ask his daddy on his own if he could change “diapers”, “nice shirt” and “sit papa car go out” if he was a “good boy” and “eat medicine”.
Papa obliged of course (I mean, have you heard Liam when he requests for something? It’s so hard to say NO), and gave me the entire morning to catch up on some rest and a round of prenatal massage/body wrap which was what I needed badly.
So yep, father & son went out on their own and seems like they had some great fun, judging by the photos above that the Bo sent me post lunch. Brownie points for managing to capture photos of them both by asking a stranger to help!
I’m so proud of my boys.
