Exploring a neighbourhood becomes a lot more fun when you find a like-minded mum who gets all excited about what the kiddos’ OOTD should be, map out places to go (pity 4 of the 5 wall murals at Tiong Bahru were removed), have a hippie cafe in mind to check out (as opposed to the husband’s usual response of “you decide lor”), loves taking candid and posed photos as much as you do and is more than happy and enthusiastic to help take photos of you + kid + interesting backdrop.
Today, we explored part of Tiong Bahru’s neighbourhood indulging in photo-taking, cafe sitting and a quick dose of shopping (fell in love with nana & bird). I managed to finally check out Plain Vanilla and take away some sweet delightful treats for myself and the helper for our afternoon snack too, who too was smitten with the old world charm of the estate.
Ollie had so much fun heading outdoors (thanks to a request by aunt May) and meeting little Ewan and Faye, he couldn’t stop chuckling being around them till he knocked-out instantly right after we parted ways.
