Happy Holly Jolly Christmas to you & your family! I hope you had a lovely time celebrating with your loved ones!
Liam has been having a blast in the week leading to Christmas – having his friends over at our place on a few occasions, attending his first Christmas eve dinner party at my godparents’ place where he was given 1000000% attention from everyone (oh goodness!) and being given a really late bedtime allowance (which I kinda regretted…), having his first ride on a motorized car which thrilled him to bits, having his share of Christmas feasting, receiving super awesome presents …he’s practically pooped out almost after every party after all that playing. We’re 5 parties down, with 3 more to go and definitely have a lot of work cut out for us over the next few days to get him back to his regular routine. 🙁
This year marks our 7th Christmas together for the Bo & I, and our 2nd as a family with our little man. It feels surreal to how quickly time has passed us by again, and I’m extremely grateful to celebrate this joyous season surrounded by loved ones and to be reminded of how loved and blessed we are … to be able to give and be given to. Did our little part by participating in a fundraiser and sure hope we managed to spread some love & cheer around.
It was also totally un-anticipated that Liam wasn’t the least interested in unwrapping any gifts. He was however excited at the gifts after we opened and assembled it for him. That boy! I can’t wait till he’s older and understands the concept of sharing to introduce to him the joy of giving to others (less fortunate kids).
Meantime, remember to keep the drinking & driving separate! The Bo has been cabbing to holiday drink sessions with his friends so I’ve been very proud of him in that aspect. Happy Holidays!
